Dragon Amigurumi Pattern
Yoki the dragon is now also available as a crochet pattern!
I tried to make him look like the sewing pattern version. They are almost the same, I only added some extra toes.
He is not that hard to make, but it does take some time!
If you like to crochet Yoki the dragon amigurumi yourself you can buy the pattern here:

How to applique tutorial and free heart applique pattern
How To Appliqué
Applique is a great way to make your plushie look very proffesional!
Use it for eyes, mouth and other parts. It is not hard to do, you can use any sewing machine! No embroidery machine needed!
You need: a sewing machine, thread, fabric and fusible webbing.
This is how you do it:
Iron the fusible webbing onto the wrong side of your appliqué fabric and allow to cool. Pull off the protective layer from the fusible webbing and draw around your pattern piece onto the fusible-web backed fabric. Cut out the marked shape without seam allowance. Now place the fabric piece, fusible-web side down onto, the right side of the fabric it is to be appliquéd to and iron in place (E).

2. Iron you application on the fabric and let it cool. You can sew the figure on the fabric with a normal stitch or a Zigzag stitch. If you use a very narrow Zigzag stitch it will give a embroidery effect. Try the stitches first on a small piece of test fabric. If you don't have a sewing machine then you could use a blanket stitch to sew the applique on by hand.
Give your plushie a proffesional look with this technique. You can find the owl and frog pattern on www.mariskavos.nl. the frog has been made with minky fabric. You can use this technique on every

Bird sewing pattern
Sewing this bird was so much fun. When stuffing this birdie, it fills up like a balloon.
It has a nice round shape that makes you want to cuddle her!
If you like birds and sewing, this is the perfect pattern for you.
It is an easy plushie to make. The tutorial is very clear and has many illustrations to makes it even more fun to sew.
The pattern has two bird sizes included: 20 cm/ 8 inch and 30 cm / 8 inch , you can make a smaller bird by printing the pattern in a different size.

Penguin amigurumi crochet pattern
Another crochet pattern! My newest amigurumi crochet pattern is a penguin.
It is the same design as my penguin sewing pattern.
I made about 6 penguins untill I was happy with the look. It took some time, but I think it was worth it. Hope you like it! You can use any yarn for this project, I used a 2.5 mm hook and catania yarn. If you use a thicker yarn you will get a larger penguin.
If you want to make one yourself, you can buy the pattern here:

Whale amigurumi crochet pattern
Last year I started with creating Crochet Amigurumi Patterns from my Sewing Pattern designs.
This is so much fun to do.
What I like about crochet is that you can do it everywhere! A crochet hook is very small and fits in a small bag with same cotton yarn. I bring my crochet work everywhere. You never know when you have a moment to crochet!
I also made a crochet pattern of my most populair sewing pattern, the whale.
Here is a photo of him, what do you think of this crocheted version?

Boris the cat crochet pattern
A few years ago I sewed a funny looking cat named Boris.
I decided to make a amigurumi crochet pattern of him to. I used a very furry yarn to get the same furry cat. The yarn is named Schachemayer Brazilia.
It is quite a challenge to crochet with this yarn, but the result is so much fun!
What do you think of the crocheted version?
You can get the crochet pattern of Boris the cat here:
